Book of the month: october

 A few years ago, each month of October I was really impatient to celebrate Halloween. By the sunset, my mom used to do my makeup and help me to get ready so we could join my friends somewhere not far from home. We used to knock on every single door of houses with pretty decor outside and get a lot of candies. I think what I liked the most was this feeling of freedom: staying outside late at night, running with the fresh air hitting my smiley face.

Wow, I'm getting a little nostalgic, I guess it’s part of growing up. I’ve always loved the spooky season, so I can’t see myself not giving you as a recommendation for this month a novel with witchcraft. 

The ex hex by Erin Sterling, New York Times best-selling author is a romantic comedy. The “second chance” trope is well showing the silliness of being in love. Without mentioning how cute the cover is, this universe of fiction in a true similar world is really screaming: FALL! The characters are so endearing, you will love or hate them with all of your heart. There’s great plot twists, while reading I used to always want to know what's going to happen next. I’m telling you right away it’s a happy ending story and the main characters do truly deserve it.
