book of the month : january
Twisted love was my first read of Ana Huang but definitely not my last. I love the way she writes and I won’t even get started on the characters she created. I highly recommend this book. The plots were insane, like seriously. I needed to take breaks a few times while reading it.
The romance is between a teen girl and her older brother’s best friend and I prefer to mention that it’s NOT clean. I personally really enjoy that brother’s best friend trope in books, probably because something similar happened to me a few years ago. It’s super fun to read about it but do not try to recreate it, it’s not worth it. Anyways let’s get back to the book, that’s why y’all are reading this. (I wish I could have put a crying emoji right here.)
Twisted love is also super beginner friendly. If you’re not used to reading novels or any type of books in English, you should still give it a try. I won’t call it a page turner, but I’m sure you’ll get hooked on the story pretty fast. Now hear me out, the Twisted series is a series of interconnected standalones. It’s not a sequel. The stories are not following each other.
Overall, I loved the story, but somehow I’m not satisfied by the two last chapters even if it’s a happy ending.
